The house is where the trail to the Martuljek waterfalls begins, and the cycle path is across the road. Kranjska Gora is 6 minutes by car, Bled half an hour.
In summer
- On foot from the house into the Martuljek gorge and up to the Martuljek waterfalls
- The cycle path through the valley, across the road from the house
- By car to the Vršič pass, Planica and Zelenci. Triglav National Park starts above the village

- The Kranjska Gora ski area is 6 minutes by car; keep your skis at the house

How to reach us
By car
From Ljubljana take the A2 motorway towards Jesenice, leave at Hrušica and follow the main road towards Kranjska Gora: about 60 minutes. From Austria come through the Karavanke tunnel or over the Wurzen pass, from Italy via Rateče. The house is on the main road at Zgornje Rute 8.
Parking
You park at the house, free, no booking needed.
By plane
Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is 40 minutes by car, Klagenfurt Airport in Austria about an hour.
By bus or train
The bus stop in the village is less than 500 m from the house. The nearest railway station in Slovenia is Jesenice, 23 minutes by car.
