How we handle your data

Who we are

Your data on this website is looked after by Sobe v Gozdu, Uroš Abram, Zgornje Rute 8, 4282 Gozd Martuljek, Slovenia (the controller). Email: info@sobevgozdu.com, phone: +386 51 660 419.

Enquiries by email

The enquiry form does not send or store anything. When you press “Send your enquiry”, your own email program opens with the message ready, and you send it yourself. We use your name, email, phone, dates and message only to answer your enquiry and for your stay with us.

The Bentral booking calendar

On the Enquiry page you can open our booking calendar. It is provided by Bentral (bentral.com) and loads only when you press “Show the calendar”. Your browser then sends a request to Bentral's servers, which process your IP address. If you book in the calendar, Bentral processes the details you enter on our behalf to make the booking. Until you open the calendar, this site sends nothing to Bentral.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. For security and to deliver the pages, Cloudflare processes visitors' IP addresses in short-lived logs.

What we don't use

There are no cookies, ads or ad tracking on this site. The fonts are served from our own server, and the map is a link that opens only when you click it.

How long we keep data

We keep enquiries as long as we need them to answer you and for your stay. Invoicing data is kept as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see your data, have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted, object to processing and ask for your data to be transferred. Write to us at info@sobevgozdu.com. You can also complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (ip-rs.si).
